Key Appointments
Adam Pekol Consulting is pleased to announce following key appointments

  • John Dudgeon joined the firm in December 2009 as an Associate. John has more than 25 years experience at senior management levels in Brisbane City Council and the former Department of Main Roads. He has demonstrated skills in project managing the planning of major transport infrastructure and policy projects. He also has an extensive network of contacts in Local and State Governments. He is a good communicator, with a pragmatic and personal approach to meeting client needs.
  • John Campbell joined the firm in May 2010 as a Principal. John is a civil engineer with 25 years experience in transport network planning, prioritisation of infrastructure programs and travel demand forecasting. He has worked for the private sector and most recently for Brisbane City Council, where he played a lead role in the development of the Brisbane Strategic Transport Model (BSTM). John has strong technical skills which he applies when adrressing transport issues.
  • In January 2010, Adam Pekol was appointed an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. This is in recogniotion of his long standing support for the University and its role in educating future transport and traffic engineers. This appointment enables the firm to take advantage of emerging developments in the field.

 

2010 ATF Report Released
The 2010 Australian Transport Facts and state based reports for NSW, Qld, Vic and SA were delivered to stakeholders in late June. The reports document the transport task, energy consumed and emissions, by mode and state / territory for FY07/08. Ten year forecasts to 2018 are also provided for key metrics.
